Bernard A Dietz and William Henninger started D&H Electric & Heating Company as a partnership in May of 1947. Bernard C. Dietz, son of co-founder Bernard A., along with Tom Kasher, Martin Wilcox and Al Veitengruber purchased the company in May 1976. Their goal was to continue the company in the same fashion the founders had charted for them.

In June 2000, D&H Electric became a wholly owned subsidiary of Anderson Electric, Inc. Bernie Dietz remained the president and branch manager of D&H, and the company continued to offer the same quality service McLean County customers had come to expect.

In December 2002, David Bruce became Anderson Electric’s VP/Bloomington and D&H Electric manager. Dave is assisted by Keith Tay, project coordinator.

In 2006 D&H Electric was absorbed into Anderson Electric. With the accumulated years of experience between the management and field staff, the group continues to serve McLean county as one of the largest and most respected provider of quality electrical solutions in the area.
